In this regard, the Samarkand branch of Tashkent State University of Economics will organize the first (qualifying) stage of the Olympiad. The competition will be held in the following subjects: General Economic Theory, Finance, Taxation, Banking, Economic Statistics and Data Analysis.

The main objective of the Olympiad is to enhance students’ economic and financial literacy, identify talented and knowledgeable students, and develop their practical and analytical skills.

Students who demonstrate the highest results in each subject, along with their academic supervisors, will be awarded first, second, and third degree diplomas and will be financially rewarded in accordance with the established regulations. The winners will also receive the opportunity to participate in the republican stage of the Olympiad.
