TDIU Samarkand Branch Expands Partnerships at the Berlin Forum
TDIU Samarkand Branch at the Berlin Forum: Advancing Uzbek–German Academic Cooperation
On November 18, 2025, the first Uzbekistan–Germany University Forum was held in Berlin, where the TDIU Samarkand Branch delegation took an active part. The event provided an important platform to discuss opportunities for strengthening academic, research, and innovative partnerships.

Key outcomes of the forum include:

A DAAD project to establish a joint PhD program with Weihenstephan–Triesdorf University;

Internship and training opportunities for faculty members at Kempten University;

Agreement for three students to study and undertake practical training in Germany in 2026–2027;

Development of a joint project under Erasmus+ CBHE;

Agreement to open an Uzbek–German Language Teaching Center in Samarkand;
-
Expanded internship and professional development opportunities for TDIU Samarkand Branch students in Germany.
The forum marked a significant step forward in strengthening academic and scientific collaboration between Uzbekistan and Germany.
The TDIU Samarkand Branch will continue to broaden its international cooperation network.
