Official Statement: Youth as the Pillar of New Uzbekistan

OFFICIAL STATEMENT
Dear professors, respected teachers, dear students and members of our branch!
On February 24 of this year, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, held an open and sincere dialogue with more than 60,000 young people at the Kuksaroy residence. This meeting marked an important stage in the development of our country. During the dialogue, priority tasks were defined to elevate youth policy to a new qualitative level, systematically support youth initiatives, and create broad opportunities for acquiring modern knowledge and professional skills.
Special attention was given to the following areas:
-
expanding youth entrepreneurship and financially supporting startup projects;
-
encouraging innovative initiatives;
-
in-depth study of foreign languages and digital professions;
-
development of the volunteer movement;
-
ensuring student employment and increasing their practical experience.
The declaration of every Thursday as “Youth Day” will strengthen direct dialogue between leaders of state institutions and young people, reinforcing the principles of openness, responsibility, and effectiveness.
The team of Toshkent davlat iqtisodiyot universiteti Samarqand filiali considers itself directly responsible for implementing these tasks.
We train modern and competitive specialists in the field of digital economy and information technologies.
Therefore, improving the quality of education, providing in-depth instruction in artificial intelligence technologies, ensuring harmony between theory and practice, and supporting student startups are our key priorities.
The branch successfully implements the “President Tech Award,” freelancing and online business courses, and internship programs in cooperation with IT Park. Based on the President’s initiatives, these directions will be further expanded to ensure that every student gains experience in at least one real project or practical activity.
Dear members of our community!
Every progressive idea and every innovative proposal is valuable to us. Through our joint efforts, we will consistently work to transform our branch into a leading center of information technology and digital education not only in the region but also nationwide.
Youth are the pillar and the future of New Uzbekistan.
