In order to further develop educational cooperation between Uzbekistan and Germany, President Erik Veulliet, Vice President Karsten Lorz, International Programs Manager Aram Aristakesyan, and Joint Educational Programs Coordinator Sh. Yuldashev from Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University visited the State General Secondary School No. 51 specialized in German language named after Wilhelm von Humboldt, located in Samarkand.

The guests were welcomed by the school principal Z. Karimova, who introduced them to the opportunities created for learning the German language at the school. The German delegation provided detailed explanations to the students about the procedures for higher education in Germany and answered questions from students interested in studying there. The possibilities of involving school students in further developing cooperation between the two institutions were also discussed.
