International seminar-training on the topic “Economics of Disasters”
A seminar-training on the topic “Economics of Disasters” will be conducted by the well-known Brazilian economist Professor Eduardo Amaral Haddad.
During this seminar, participants will gain in-depth knowledge about the impact of natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, droughts, etc.), as well as human-induced emergencies on the economy, their short-term and long-term consequences, and mechanisms for ensuring economic stability and recovery.
The seminar-training will be conducted in a scientific-practical format, where real-life examples, results of modern research, and international experiences will be discussed. Q&A and discussion sessions will also be organized for participants.
