The prestigious University of Sheffield, in partnership with the Allan and Nesta Ferguson Charitable Trust and the Sheffield Institute for International Development, offers a fully funded Master’s scholarship for talented students from developing countries.

For the 2026–2027 academic year, the following programs are available:

• International Development MSc
• International Political Economy MA

 Note: Only 3 scholarships will be awarded.

 Who can apply?

• International students who wish to pursue a Master’s degree

 Benefits:

• Full tuition fee coverage
• Living stipend of £12,500 (approximately $16,500)

 Requirements:

Applicants must:

• Be a citizen of a developing country (including Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan)
• Hold an offer for one of the eligible Master’s programs
• Not receive other scholarships or financial support
• Have English proficiency: minimum IELTS 6.5 (at least 6.0 in each component)
• Be ready to start studies in September 2026 (no deferral allowed)
• Be able to obtain a UK visa

 Application process:

• First, apply for the Master’s program and obtain an offer
• Shortlisted candidates will then be invited to apply for the scholarship
• If you do not receive an invitation by May 15, 2026, you have not been shortlisted

 Required documents:

• Bachelor’s diploma and transcript (with English translation)
• Academic transcript (if still studying)
• 2 academic reference letters (if required)
• English language certificate (IELTS or equivalent)
• Motivation letter (minimum 300 words)
• CV
• Proof of work experience or portfolio (if available)
